CONGREGATIONAL PRAYER:
God of refuge and strength, hear the prayers of your children. You are our hope and our consolation. Strengthen us in faith, and sustain us with your presence. Bring comfort to those who are hurting, healing to those who are ill, and peace to those who are in turmoil. Watch over those who work on behalf of children, the elderly, and all who are threatened by warfare and violence. Fill us with your grace, that we may live in confident assurance of your promise of love, mercy, and salvation, given to us through your Son, Jesus Christ our savior. Amen.
